Motorcycle insurance covers loss or damage to two-wheelers used in private or commercial situations. It covers loss or damage to the motorcycle and its accessories as well as legal liability to third parties arising from the use of the motorcycle.

- There are several special perils including floods, typhoons, hurricanes, earthquakes, and volcanic eruptions
- Fire
- Theft
- Liability for third-party property damage, bodily injury, and death
- Boda Boda’s legal liability for bodily injury/death to passengers
- Towing/recovery charges
- Expenses incurred with the insurer’s consent
The following risks are not covered by our Motor Insurance policy:
- Own death or injury
- Tire damage unless the motor vehicle is also damaged
- Consequential Loss/ Depreciation/ Wear and Tear
- Loss outside the geographical area
- Loss due to cheating
- Influence of alcohol
- A motor vehicle is used for an unlawful purpose
- Damage caused by overloading/strain
We do not cover the following risks under our motorcycle insurance:
- Loss of personal effects
- Personal accident cover
- Use in connection with a motor trade
- Racing
- Use for carriage of passengers for hire/reward
- Consequential loss
- If the motorcycle is not also stolen, then loss or damage to accessories/ spare parts will not occur
- Damage to tires
- Depreciation Wear and Tear
- Failures of mechanical and electrical systems
- Loss of use
Motorcycle Insurance Requirments For Cover
Requirements for cover are:
- Duly completed proposal form
- Registration Card
- The list and breakdown of additional improvised items to be covered, with value separation (Radio, Rim Tyre, etc.)
- Driving License or Valid NIDA ID
- Pre-inspection photo of the insured vehicle
- Premium payment
